If you have visited our own lovely Chapel Museum on Wheathill Lane and you are looking for another cultural gem to visit on a Sunday, how about this fabulous place on Oborne Road in Sherborne? The Sherborne Steam & Waterwheel Centre. Journalist and broadcaster Kate Adie attended an event there on 2nd June (yes, when the sun was known to shine ALL day!) to celebrate the new exhibits, in particular the waterwheel that was so corroded that it had to be completely rebuilt. Geoff Ward - Milborne Port resident and long-time supporter of our History & Heritage Group - is the Chairman and one of the many volunteers behind the running of this fascinating museum, well worth a visit!
